Welcome

I am a South Asian-American psychotherapist with a public health background who specializes in perinatal mental health, trauma, and anti-oppression work. I live and work in the Boston area and engage with individuals and families in many capacities: as a psychotherapist, facilitator of support groups, postpartum doula, lactation counselor, program creator, racial justice advocate, health inequities fighter, connector, teller of truths about parenthood, and occasional stand-up comic.
My work connects clinical services with public health by addressing unmet needs in direct perinatal mental healthcare and the structure and delivery of perinatal support services. I have created several programs and changed systems of healthcare to better support new parents and families.
Visibility and representation matter, and I believe that mental health support should reflect and integrate experiences with race, racism, and other oppressions so that folks from diverse backgrounds can utilize psychotherapy in a way that is meaningful, helpful, and appropriate.
I bring a fresh voice, honesty, and humor to my work, and I empower folks to connect, tell their truths, and draw strength from their communities.
